Head of department’s message:

According to the WHO's constitution, attainment by all people of the highest possible level of health without regard of their socio-economic status is a goal. In this regard, attaining health at international standards level is an undeniable necessity. It is clear that training highest quality graduates and knowledge generation through research, development and providing services for the society, country and health scientists is a means of this development.  

Environmental health engineering department of Mashhad University of Medical Sciences is a branch of Mashhad faculty of health whose aim is to control those factors in the environment that affect physical, mental and social life of humans. The main goal of environmental health engineering department is to attain environmental health goals and to train expert, aware personnel to achieve a healthy environment.

Offering unintegrated bachelor’s, integrated bachelor’s and master’s degree programs, environmental health engineering department of Mashhad faculty of health educates personnel that the society needs and it is hoped that, the PhD degree be also offered by next year.

With values prevailing in this department including team work, fair openness of colleagues to criticism, appropriate behavior with colleagues and students, prioritized research, cooperative management, up-to-date faculty members, etc. I hope we could achieve objectives and perspectives of the department.

God willing, we hope that attempts made by faculty members and students help us achieve these goals.

Finally, I ask God to help all students achieve in all stages of their life and I wish a happy academic year for them.
